EQA Hellas was founded in 1999 and since then has provided its certification services to more than 2500 organizations in Greece and other European countries as well.

Also, EQA Hellas provides services of second (2nd) Party Audits and training services in a wide range of aspects of Management Systems.

For the provision of accredited services for Standards ISO 14001, BRC,IFS & SA 8000, EQA Hellas cooperates, via its network, with other Accredited Certification Bodies.

Accreditations

Accreditation is a process by which an organization that provides certification, testing and inspection services, is assessed by a third party against internationally recognized standards.

It demonstrates the organizations competence, impartiality and performance capability and is the key to reducing risk and ensuring that consumers, suppliers and purchasers can have confidence in the services provided.

Having acknowledged the significance for provision of accredited certification services, EQA Hellas has granted accreditation certificates from the Hellenic Accreditation System S.A (ESYD S.A.).

ESYD is one of the founding members of EA (European co-operation for Accreditation) and has become a signatory to the MLA's (multilateral agreements) for Certification Bodies, Testing Laboratories, Calibration Laboratories and Inspection Bodies.
Also ESYD is a member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Collaboration - ILAC.
